A documentary led, lifestyle inspired approach

The more things change, the more things stay the same - but with time, comes opportunity. Areas of the pier had changed enough to where existing photos were no longer accurate. When former colleagues reached out to me on behalf of their client, Pier 39, the ask was for an update to existing environments for accuracy’s sake. But the opportunity really was, how can we inject the energy of the pier into what might have been formerly thought of as traditionally static shots?
